- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14789111, 6 years agoDoesn't work. I installed the companion app. I have 300mbit/300mbit connection yet it starts downloading with less than 50k/s and a couple of minutes later just stops.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14787984, 6 years agoAbsolutely rubbish software!!! Stay away from this. Need to pay extra even just to save a converted file. Isn't this is what the extension supposedly do?! What's the point of converting the video when I cannot save it...
"The easy way to download and convert Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites." They forgotten to add this note: "And we need charge you before you can use the features" - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14786964, 6 years agobs bs bs! SCAMWARE. Click bait that merely leads to another required download.
- Rated 1 out of 5by mrprytania, 6 years agoUpdate Dec-2024. Now they SPLAT a huge watermark taking up 1/6 of the screen ruining your download. Why use their tool if it ruins your downloads? Developers are bonkers. They also hassle you for $30.00 to remove this. You can pick other downloaders.
There are firefox add-ons that are not this intrusive and do not require $30.00US to remove. Look elsewhere. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14785589, 6 years agoDo not install this rubbish. Adds horrible barcode to video. Unwatchable! Uninstalled!!!!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14785198, 6 years agoRequires an additional app and you have to pay to remove a watermark and may be to listen the audio because my downloaded videos are mute. Why it not clear from the beginning that it is not free?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14780645, 6 years agoIt was great until it started nagging about this goddamn companion app.
You can take your fucking companion app and shove it up your ass.
Uninstall. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14778959, 6 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14774586, 6 years agoMy first (& last) download was damaged because I was'nt registered! You didn't have to force me to register! If it was a good app, I would come for more....
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14773567, 6 years agoOnly detects 5 out of 63 videos in a YouTube playlist. Confirmed useless cos other video downloaders detected all 63.
WTF? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13507145, 6 years agouseless, doesn't do anything but asks to install additional program.

- Rated 1 out of 5by peternn, 6 years agoThis add-on actually can *not* save videos. In order to save a video, it asks for downloading a 'companion' app, which is an executable that has to be installed separately and hence the browser security restrictions do not apply to it - it can do virtually anything.
This is highly suspicious, because external applications are not necessary in order to save files. I removed it and installed a different video downloader add-on which can save files just fine without 'companion' executables.
Another suspicious thing is that this addon requires some permissions which are not needed for the functionality it provides. - Rated 1 out of 5by BaraShiro, 6 years agoI want an addon that does exactly one thing, download videos. This addon used to do this, but now they have started to run videos through some kind of converter (= slow) and leaving a big watermark on the video, asking for money to remove it. Completely useless, uninstalled.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Simon Parzer, 6 years agoWorks really well in theory, but as others have said before, it puts a huge watermark on the downloaded video, then asks you to buy a "premium" version without that anti-feature.
The add-on does not tell you that beforehand, not even in the description! Downloading a video can take a long time so it is deliberately wasting your time just to increase the chances of you paying for it. I call this misleading and a shady business practice. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13511563, 6 years agoWhy does it need all these autorisations: Access to your data for ALL websites, exchange messages with OTHER programs than Firefox, consult and modify the history of downloads, access Firefox activity while browsing Internet.
