Occasionally you come across something that just works, and this extension is one of them. You then wait for the developers to stuff it up somehow in search of monetization, but so far this hasn't happened to Video Download Helper. I guess that there are enough people willing to pay for videos without a watermark that the program can be kept afloat and casual users like myself can continue with the free version. Anyway, thanks guys; much appreciated.

Einzig dieser blöde "Deal" - "persönliche Daten abgeben, ohne Entschädigung gegen kostenlose Nutzung" ist und bleibt einfach fragwürdig. Stellar performance downloading videos from most websites. Developer continues to update extension to keep up with YouTube's constant anti-downloading code. Sometimes you have to wait a few days but eventually it gets fixed. Kudos. Highly recommneded.
