- Rated 3 out of 5by BH, 5 months agoWhen i FIRST Started using this long ago.. i remember it was super easy to use and worked great. Now.. many of the videos i want to archive are needing a Secondary Installed program (vdhcoapp)and now they all come with a QR Code watermark you must PAY to get rid of. SO.. unfortunately.. this add-in will no longer be used.
- Rated 3 out of 5by mt, 5 months agoIn general, this is a good plugin. Easy to use and it does what is advertised. I only had a few sites that it does not support. There are few missing features that would bring it up to 5 stars for me.
* First and foremost, download resume. Many times for whatever reason the download does not finish and it sucks to have to start over
* When a download fails, there is no retry, only the failed message. There is no identifier, so if I have multiple at the same time, I do not know which failed.
* Ability to configure the name length. It truncates long names which I dislike very much.
All in all, I will use this plugin until I find one that supports the features above. Hopefully, it will be improved. - Rated 3 out of 5by olaf Meier, 5 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by DisplayName, 6 months agoGreat when it works, but they have trouble keeping up w/Youtube blocking them.
Presently w/n DL vids from YT again. Down more than up, of late.
Presently usually get "Sadly we failed at downloading that specific media." - Rated 3 out of 5by BrudeRud, 6 months ago
Well, no, I'm not happy. The problems reported four months ago still haven't been resolved. In fact, even when you succeed to download a video, it's useless because the voice is still translated into German. I have to replace DVH with a hardware system, the DJI Raven Eye. It's expensive and slow, but there's no other solution. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18924021, 6 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18912280, 6 months agoDoesn't work on You tube anymore, I get messages saying my browser is being slowed down. I want to know why it isn't working. I paid for a lifetime membership and how do you go about fulfilling that if it doesn't work consistently. Bottom line, I am paying for a service that I'm not getting, I should get my money back if you don't fix it. Period.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13052962, 6 months agoBEST APP EVER, when it's working. And that's the problem, as it seems to be down more times then it's up and working (on YouTube, using Firefox).
One of the problems (other than it being down - on YouTube, using Firefox) is that it's just not there, no, Sorry, We're Working To Fix This, or nothing.
It's back now, as of the time of my writing this review, but, due to YouTube's obsession with not allowing Ad Blockers, I can Download Videos, but can't actually watch them on the site (I REALLY wish this would work on the Brave Browser, as the browser itself blocks YouTube ads without having to install an Ad Blocker extension - which is odd, as it uses the Google Chrome engine, that they are able to circumvent YouTube ads, without getting the videos blocked).
When it's working, the videos are great, and it's worth the upgrade to the paid version (as long as you keep in mind, that if it's YouTube videos you're looking to download, that you may be frustrated with the intermittent service you get - would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for that). - Rated 3 out of 5by Bear, 6 months agoI really like this add-on, but I can't currently download videos from youtube just like already happend a few times recently. I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

- Rated 3 out of 5by FarestR06, 7 months agoI like the idea of this extension, but I wasn't amused by the watermark. Paid extensions are the whole reason why I hate Safari with a passion. It's honestly kind of a shame, since I can get a watermarkless file for free with yt-dlp, but I understand that you gotta fund your extension somehow.
Still seems like a great extension though; maybe I'll revisit this when I stop being broke?
