- Rated 1 out of 5by minigeist, a year agoif the final product is going to have a giant, opaque watermark on it blocking the whole point of the app, then PLEASE put this app behind a normal, full-disclosure paywall page like a legitimate software for sale, instead of a bait and switch sample of pay-to-unlock features, like this. just be honest. there doesn't seem to be a way to uninstall the weird secondary app it requires, now, as my pc doesn't list it in programs, so it feels like malware despite the friendly reassurance on the download page.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14659101, a year agoIt looks like you could download things, but soon as you try, it immediately complains and tells you to install another app that bypasses Firefox's store so who knows what crap is in it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Carbon14, a year agoGet's worse with every passing year. No longer usable due to watermarking and subscription requirements.

27$ for something that already exists for free.
I understand the difficulty in programming stuff especially for larger user bases and am willing to pay a few bucks for extensions (see DeArrow for example). But 27$ is too much, sorry.
And also you are not upfront about it. I only know it when I 1. Downloaded the extension, 2. Downloaded the companion, 3. Downloaded a video
That is absurdly misleading. You could just show a prompt on installation of the extension or even better at the top of the extension description in red so everyone knows what they are getting into. - Rated 1 out of 5by martums, a year ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Trin, a year agoFails to mention that you require to purchase a license to download an audio file or to remove a huge QR code inside videos. Since you have to install an additional "companion" app anyway, you're better off with installing a free alternative instead.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18647116, a year agoc'est devenu complétement payant, si on paye pas on a un gros qr code sur la vidéo récupérée
- Rated 1 out of 5by Amictus, a year agoРасширение наполняется абсолютно ненужным и в основном мусорным функционалом, главный козырь программы скачивания с всего и вся, сузился до пары тройки десятков полит корректных сайтов.
The extension is filled with completely unnecessary and mostly garbage functionality, the main trump card of the program downloading from anything and everything, narrowed down to a couple of three dozen politically correct sites.
I haven't read the full agreement
(time is precious), but already on a subconscious level you realize that here the developer is given carte blanche by Mozilla, on terms convenient only to him.
I switched to another unpopular analog with a simple minimalistic window and a couple of buttons, like a mountain off my shoulders. - Rated 1 out of 5by AORKA, a year agoEverything was fine until they made it so you can't even download videos without a giant watermark. If I could just download without converting to avoid the watermark, that'd be fine, but they want $27 for that. Sorry, not worth it. I can just use yt-dl.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Kuriboi, a year agoEverything's fine and dandy until you download a video, which then appears a GIANT QR CODE WATERMARK on the video itself. This happened after I downloaded the external helper to download a meme off youtube.
Turns out you gotta buy a license or whatever to be watermark-less. Yeeeeaaahh, no thanks. - Rated 1 out of 5by Flinx, a year agoreports that downloading 720 or 1080 video is an issue now yet there are other programs that do it with ease.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18640744, a year agoNervtötend. Zeitraubend. Und von einfach keine Spur. Aber egal. Es gibt anscheindend genug Menschen die immer noch glauben mit wenigen Mausklicks wäre ein Problem gelöst. Dabei ist genau das Gegenteil der Fall.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Drugs, a year agoUsed to work. Now it puts a giant CR code watermark on every download. Thanks a bunch, dickheads.
Guess people who get paid for reviews wouldn't notice this, hence all the 5-star ratings.
