- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18538633, a year agoWhile it works, there are times when it seems like it has worked properly only to save a file that is just a big green block and no video or audio. If not for that, I would have given it a 5 star...

Free version NOT usable to download videos. But o.k. to get the audio part (can be converted externally). - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14946286, a year ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Pengy4, a year agoI liked it better before it was "improved." When saving a stream, there are too many choices even when there is only one apparent stream on the page. The old interface was simpler and I liked it better.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18033116, a year agoBefore payment became mandatory, I used VDH fairly often. Afterwords, I just did without. So I have no idea how well the program works. The free version was very slow at processing the data into MP4 format.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18487377, a year agoThe new update seems to have broken a lot more video downloads. Used to have only the odd very obscure player not work, now it is on a regular basis and ones that used to work that were less popular no longer do.
Unfortunate, but for most use cases, you'll probably be fine, however, there are other tools that can fill this need if you look around Github. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14889950, a year ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15099013, a year agoused to be great, now, 50% of the time it doesn't work, and the rest of the time it adds a qr-code over about 40% of the vid.
I'm sure I'll see a refund of my donation a couple weeks ago. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16868508, a year agoI gave this shit addon 3 stars just so those who looked to see what good experiences others had with this shit addon would see the truth. It deserves 0 or 1 star! This addon doesn't download Youtube videos or any others without paying $30 to the pricks that put this thing up. No mention is made of this when you see or download the addon, but try to download a video and it puts a huge watermark on the video! Don't download this piece of slow shit! Look elsewhere and cause these pricks to fail and go away!
- Rated 3 out of 5by Brian, a year agoVideo Download Helper has been redesigned and it is simpler to use. Easier to see the status of my downloads. However the Images Download feature, which wasn't working properly prior to the change, seems to have disappeared altogether.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Emery Palmerson, a year agoI noticed that the user has to acquire a license to download videos that are freely available on other sites, plus I noticed that the nameless comments are fives stars set one hour apart as if this company is now spamming the reviews as if they know that they are actively committing fraud on the public, not to mention the embedded QR Code in the video!
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12162781, a year agoI like the new look. I don't like that if i mistakenly add to the que. that I cant stop it. or at least haven't figured out how. it seems to be more reliable than the old version on the downloads completion rate.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13655286, a year agopaid for a license but can't find the setting to add it to Firefox down loader
Found the setting but I'm in the dark as to why it crashes now and then.
